Law No. (32) of 1968 Concerning Currency, The Central Bank Of Kuwait And The Regulation Of Banking *

We, Sabah Al-Salim Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, 

Having regard to the Constitution, particularly Articles 20, 23, 65, 77, 148 and 154 thereof, AND

The Kuwait Currency Law issued under Amiri Decree No. (41) of 1960, AND

Law No. (23) of 1962 concerning the accession of the State of Kuwait to the Agreements of the International Monetary Fund and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, AND

Amiri Decree issued on 12 November 1964 concerning Exchange Control, AND

The approval by the National Assembly of the following Law, 

Have sanctioned and do hereby promulgate it:

* Some clauses were amended by virtue of the Decree Law No. (130) of 1977 issued on 25 October 1977 and published in the Official Gazette “Al-Kuwait Al- Youm”, Edition No. 1164 dated 30 October 1977.
