H.E. the Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait, Dr. Mohammad Y. Al-Hashel unveiled the new sixth issue of Kuwaiti banknotes. The celebration event was held on Monday, May 19, 2014. H.E. announced that the new issue will be in circulation from June 29, 2014.
